WW2 Safety poster. UK.

WW2 Safety poster. UK.

From the end of WW2 this information poster from the government reminds us of the hardships our nation endured. Communication by poster was a common feature during the war not only to raise morale but to ensure the population were kept a breast of policies. The wireless and the home service were also very important but to ensure there was consistency in reminding the people as to policy and practice, theses posters were publicly displayed.

This poster reminded us the water supplies were not always safe and pasteurization of milk was variable. Hence the poster.
