This annual jazz festival has taken place in Vitoria-Gasteiz every July since 1977. 
It is the only Spanish festival that is part of the International Jazz Festival Organization (IJFO).

The uniqueness of the work is that part of it was painted by Mikel Urmeneta (Kukuxumusu) in New York, and then sent to Andreu Buenafuente  (Spanish late night show host), who finished it in Barcelona.
Did you know…?
Urmeneta co-founded Kukuxumusu ("the flea's kiss") in 1989, a creative brand that became world-famous for its humorous and stylized depictions of San Fermín (bull run) in Pamplona. The company began selling T-shirts during the festival and eventually expanded into a global brand.
