Original Spanish vintage advertising poster about a Picasso exhibition which to place at Municipal Hall of Exhibitions in Valencia from May to June 1988 with the collaboration of the French Embassy in Spain.
Scene depicts Picasso’s painting “Pablo Picasso Portrait of a Woman in a Hat” made in 1962 which is a vibrant and colorful linocut that showcases Picasso’s famous abstracted, reductive, cubist style. With thick lines of black, accents of green and blue and blocks of red, white, yellow, this portrait is full of gorgeous saturated colors that fill the composition with life. This work is truly eye catching and shows off Picasso’s mastery of colour and shape.
