Romeria Cordoba, 1978. Spain.

Title: Romeria (pilgrimage) to saint Dominic.

Scene depicts a couple wearing traditional Andalusian customs riding a white Andalusian horse, also known as the Pure Spanish Horse or PRE, is a horse breed from the Iberian Peninsula, where its ancestors have lived for thousands of years. The Andalusian has been recognized as a distinct breed since the 15th century, and its conformation has changed very little over the centuries.

About this celebration:

Walking, on horseback, by car, by bicycle, on a motorcycle or in colorful floats, each one chooses the way in which to join the pilgrimage and reach the Sanctuary of Saint Dominic de Scala Coeli where the floral offering will take place by the Royal Brotherhood of the Holy Christ and San Álvaro de Córdoba.

An event that each year commemorates the miracle of the Dominican friar San Álvaro de Córdoba, who stopped to help a sick person on the road who turned out to be Jesus Christ.
