This authentic vintage poster was created to mark the Catalan Book Day — Día del Llibre — celebrated on 23 April 1985 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Measuring 50 × 35 cm and printed on premium coated paper, it was officially published by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalonia together with the Catalan Booksellers' and Publishers' Associations, with all text in Catalan. The elegant artwork shows a woman's profile against a gentle blue-to-white fade, topped by an open book that seems to emerge from her thoughts — a timeless symbol of how reading expands the mind. A wonderful piece of 1980s Catalan graphic art, produced in a limited run for this special cultural occasion.
