Original vintage World Cup poster featuring the1984 Copa del Rey Final. The final was played at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, on 5 May 1984, being won by Athletic Bilbao, who beat Barcelona 1–0. The match is well known due to a huge fight between players at the end of the game and Maradona's lat match playing for Barcelona.

This style of football poster, unfortunately, disappeared due to the use of computers at the end of the 80's in Spain. Its figurative style and the size is quite similar to the ones made for bullfights because the same publishers and artists did work for both events.
 On the other side, there was a pattern to repetition of some football backgrounds of match scenes to illustrate different teams, precisely due to the search for quick solutions, which is why different lithographic workshops had their own work backgrounds, just like today designers have images and photographs examples when there is no time or budget to generate new designs. This is the reason, it seems that the background of this poster was originally made for a match  Barcelona vs RealMadrid with regard to club colours.
